Extra-Curricular Activities/Clubs

(including Wraparound Care)

WE VISIT. WE DELIVER. THEY ENJOY.

At District Sports, we pride ourselves on the quality of our Morning, Lunch and After-School Clubs.

We can provide a multitude of sport, dance, martial arts, gymnastics or activity clubs to suit your school's desires; we ensure your pupils get the most out of the activities we provide.

Morning Clubs

To help all the busy parents, carers and guardians get to work on time and so that their children have an extra hour of fun before the school day has even started.

Lunch Clubs

To help add a structured playtime for children to continue their learning, whilst playing with their friends.

After-School Clubs

To help parents, carers and guardians stay at work for longer while their children spend another hour taking part in a range of fantastic sports.

Change4Life

To help fight obesity and to follow the national guidelines so that the children are learning how making a small change or two can make a big difference.

Enrichment

A sporting reward session given to children for their fantastic behaviour or learning, or to give certain groups the extra 1-1 time with their friends whilst playing a sport of their choice.

Peer Mentoring

For those children who may find the school day challenging and need time to themselves in a supported environment.

Wraparound Care

We work closely with schools to provide high-quality wraparound care, helping to meet the growing needs of busy parents and families. We currently offer two flexible options: we can provide a complete wraparound service, including a wide range of activities such as arts and crafts, construction, creative play and sports; or we can work alongside the school’s existing wraparound provision, delivering the sports and physical activity element. Our aim is to provide children with a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment before and after school, while giving parents the flexibility and peace of mind they need. To take bookings; we can either use our own booking system or the school's current system.

PPA Cover,

Curriculum Support and Pupil Mentoring

PROFESSIONAL. PASSIONATE. INSPIRING

PPA Cover and Curriculum Support for Teachers is very important within Schools and this is why District Sports are very proud to cover or assist with any PE sessions within your schools, with some fantastic skills, sports and games.

We offer any sport, dance, swimming or exercise session that you would like and we tailor everything to what the school, the National Curriculum and the children need. We base our sessions on inclusion-for-all and therefore we make sure every child is involved and enjoying the session regardless of their ability level.

We work within many schools over Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset delivering PE Sessions and we do not just see it as covering an hour or two, we see it as District Sports becoming a part of the school and making an impact on the children and also the teachers. We want to use physical activity and exercise to increase the children's confidence, as we believe each and every child deserves to be positive about what they take part in and what they learn about.

Pre-School and Nursery

We offer fun, engaging multi-sports sessions for pre-school and nursery-aged children, designed to introduce them to the fundamentals of movement and physical development.

Through a variety of age-appropriate activities and games, children develop essential skills such as balance, coordination, agility, spatial awareness and confidence, while having fun and building a positive relationship with physical activity from an early age.

Friendliest staff, a variety of activities, all the kids love it as they are all included and are not judged.
